We welcomed Dr. DeMoy into our practice in 2016. She graduated from the Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. Dr. DeMoy practiced mixed animal medicine, focusing on small animals, for three years in central New York before moving back to Vermont in 2002. Karen lives in Orwell with her husband, Dave, a large animal veterinarian, and their three daughters. When not shuttling her children to their various activities, she also enjoys gardening, needlework, crochet, felting, and is an avid reader of all topics. At home, Karen’s extended family includes a border collie mix named Moxie, a Havanese named Dottie, a leopard gecko named Rajah, and many chickens.

She graduated from Tufts University in 2014 and has worked in both mixed-animal and small animal practices in New York and New Jersey. Her clients value her candid approach and sense of humor. Originally from California, Dr. Levin earned his DVM from Ross University in 1999, followed by an internship at The Animal Medical Center in New York and a three-year residency in surgery completed in 2003. He is board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons and has served as Staff Surgeon and Chief of Surgery at referral and emergency hospitals across the U.S. His special interests include orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, and he has performed thousands of TPLO procedures for cruciate ligament repair.
