Dr. Patrick Leavey

Medical Director

Dr. Leavey returned to Vermont in 2009 after graduating from Tufts University and has been with the Animal Hospital of Hinesburg since 2014, where he now serves as medical director. His focuses are surgery and dentistry. At home, he and his wife, Anna, enjoy life with their son, daughter, two Labrador Retrievers, and two cats. Outside the hospital, he loves spending time with family and playing music.

Dr. Leavey returned to Vermont in 2009 after veterinary school at Tufts University. Pat has enjoyed working at the Animal Hospital of Hinesburg since 2014 and he is now the medical director for our team. Pat’s areas of focus are surgery and dentistry. He and his wife, Anna, live with their wonderful son and daughter. They also live with their two Labrador Retrievers, Freddy and Frankie, and their cats, Thor and Theodosia. When not at the hospital, he is usually having fun with his family and friends or playing his many musical instruments.
